This winter transfer window is always a period of intense speculation and possible major moves. Several prominent stars are being linked with transfers out of their current teams. We examine some of the top names who could be on the move this month.

A. Semenyo

M. Guéhi

The English centre-back has excel for Crystal Palace this season a previous transfer to Liverpool collapsing. As his contract due to expire in the close season, this represents the London club's final opportunity to obtain a transfer fee for their skipper. A host of elite sides, including City and multiple European giants including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, are believed to hold an interest. Brennan Johnson

K. Smit

This highly-touted Netherlands midfielder has earned parallels to a Belgian superstar for his playing style. After impressing at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar first team. The teenager is widely tipped to complete a major transfer this month. Newcastle reportedly are frontrunners, but could face stiff rivalry from the Spanish champions for a deal priced at approximately £22 million.
