Tehran is prepared to reinitiate atomic negotiations with Washington provided that it is handled with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared exclusively dialogue produced results, and disclosed fresh requests had come from mediators to resume discussions with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran was not yet able to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Walking a Difficult Route

Araghchi is walking a complex route since Iran does not want be perceived to be proceeding from a stance of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen stronger in military terms and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its atomic facilities in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the impasse in the previous talks.

Prior Talks Unexpectedly Ended

The earlier sessions of discussions between the US and Iran were brought to an abrupt and hostile termination on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, struck Iran's enrichment centers in a 12-day war that ended with the American leader asserting the facilities had been obliterated. Afterward, European countries exercised their privilege to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran insists they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to declare success since local refinement would have persisted and the US could be certain that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been decided in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could operate on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the cooperative offer. Diplomats asserted on multiple occasions they had secured an understanding with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the deal to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Present Status

The Iran's state department has been criticized of non-responsiveness in the face of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Iran states negotiations is not part of a show.

In his remarks to the conference, designed to portray the US as a dominant force that misuses the notion of worldwide standards, Araghchi stated the two-week conflict showed the clash could not be settled by military means. He said the attacks began with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and ended with an complete request for a truce.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were mounted with full US knowledge and cooperation, making trust challenging to restore.

Araghchi stated: "It was not Iran that had fled negotiations; it was America and the European states that had consistently sought to enforce their demands during the discussions.
